Peter is the lead strategist for Lighthouse, supporting the company’s clients with strategic communications counsel, senior media relations advice, and stakeholder and issues management advisory.
Peter founded Lighthouse following a successful career as journalist, government media advisor and corporate affairs leader for multinational consultancies and organisations, including Telstra.
Peter has led M&As and IPOs, created high profile internal and external communications strategies, secured policy and regulatory change, and launched high profile products and brands.
Since founding Lighthouse, Peter has advised many prominent Australian brands including Telstra, oOh!media, Blackmores, Beaumont Tiles, CSR, KFC and Redkite.
Jane is charged with developing and implementing strategy, content creation and channel distribution for a number of our clients, in addition to driving integrated digital and traditional communications across our client base.
She has a strong track record of driving powerful integrated strategies that quickly and creatively deliver measurable commercial results.
Prior to joining Lighthouse, Jane held in-house and agency roles spanning digital advertising, marketing, public relations, internal communications, copywriting, graphic design and events.
She has worked across sectors including building construction, mining, data, education, interior design, food & beverage, health & wellness and beauty.
Louise is the lead media relations specialist for Lighthouse, and has a deep understanding of both traditional and online media.
A former newspaper and lifestyle magazine journalist, she has extensive experience in securing positive print, electronic and online coverage for clients across a wide range of industries. This includes regular coverage in The Australian, Australian Financial Review, ABC, SBS, television news, radio and major news sites.
Louise has worked with major brands including Sony, Hyatt, Vogue, Estee Lauder, Yahoo!, Zoom, WeWork and many others. She has also worked on several IPOs, along with start-ups and early stage companies raising funds, including on crowdfunding platform Birchal.
Louise develops mutually beneficial relationships with journalists over the long term, enabling her to know what angles work best with media, and provide insightful advice to clients looking to enhance their media profiles while supporting commercial outcomes.
Creative specialist for Lighthouse Shelley’s expertise lies in helping clients nail their creative messages and deliver on brand ambitions.
Shelley’s experience spans across all forms of design – brand, print, web, presentation and experiential. She has provided creative solutions for international governments, financial and business communications, not for profits, events and small businesses in traditional print, spatial design and digital media.
Having worked for some of the world’s leading creative agencies in Europe and Australasia, Shelley’s wealth of international exposure and business nous offers fresh, cutting edge design ideas, slick lines and no-nonsense messaging with professional delivery. Her approach, brutal simplicity and transparency builds an innate rapport with clients.
Ainsley has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Public Relations and Social Media from Macquarie University, and has an interest in social media and event management, strategic communication campaign design, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining Lighthouse, Ainsley worked in the stakeholder and community engagement sector for Sydney Water, where she was responsible for liaising with stakeholders affected by construction projects in northern Sydney.
She has experience producing communications plans and collateral to deliver customised and effective engagement with diverse stakeholder groups
Riley recently graduated from the University of Sydney after completing a Master’s in Strategic Public Relations and a Bachelor of Communications, and is passionate about developing creative, effective and engaging ways to communicate with consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.
Before joining Lighthouse, he worked in the communications department of a well-known aid agency, and additionally interned with an education sector non-for-profit. Riley particularly enjoys visual and creative production within the communications field, and has worked in film and photography across a variety of projects.
Emily works with Lighthouse’s client partners to create and manage powerful content across owned, earned and paid channels based on insights.
Emily draws on her vast experience in traditional marketing roles to help drive social and digital strategies, develop audiences, set content strategies and ensure brand engagement continues to build.
Prior to joining Lighthouse, she had extensive experience in Australia and overseas across a wide range of projects in social media, advertising, marketing, public relations, writing and brand development.
Emily has worked at agencies in Australia and abroad, and on the client-side, managed advertising and marketing campaigns.
